An opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of Assistant Stock Controller. This is a Permanent position based at KZN - STORES.

Job Summary:
|
|
Responsible to provide prompt, accurate and efficient supply of stock to internal customers in order to maximize productivity and minimize wastage and stock loss
|
| |
|
Minimum Criteria Required:
|
Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification
|

|
Experience:
|
|
0-1 Yrs Relevant Working Experience
|
| |
|
Relevant Job Knowledge:
|
Stock in pathology environment
|
| |
|
Key Performance Areas:
|
• Receive stock from vendors/suppliers to ensure that the Laboratories are equipped with the correct quantity and quality of stock required
• Carry out stock rotation to ensure stock is being issued according to the expiry date in line with FIFO principle
• Places stock according to the required temperature in line with the supply cold chain to ensure no stock is damaged
• Performs admin related work pertaining to receiving of stock to ensure the correct stock is received for the correct inventory
• Files copies of invoices, receiving documents and picking slips for audit purposes
• Issues stock on Meditech as requested by the Laboratories to ensure reorder of new stock
• Delivers stock to the various laboratories and handles all admin related work to ensure all requested stock has been delivered and signed for
• Place orders with vendors as required by the laboratories
