An opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of IT Infrastructure Specialist: Level 2. This is a Permanent position based at Richmond, Auckland Park .
 
Job Summary:
Provide intermediary complex network, server and new system interface support, design and implementation and continual upkeep of the core and or complimentary systems used by the practice within a wide range of technologies as per departmental and organisational requirements.

 
Minimum Criteria Required:
Relevant Degree or Diploma

 
Experience:
3-5 Yrs Relevant Working Experience

Key Performance Areas:
The job holder will be required to:
• Implement and maintain intermediary complex network, server and system interfaces as and when required to ensure system integrity and stability.
• Manages mini-projects as part of the overall IT team and report on work in progress to the line Manager.
• Determine Organisational requirements by attending briefing sessions with Customers and Managers ensuring implementation of IT systems.
• Investigate and evaluate various solutions in line with organisational requirements to ensure system effectiveness and optimum use of resources.
• Optimising systems and or interfaces through recommendations to ensure IT equipment is in line with specific business needs.
• Implement, install and commission selected systems to ensure optimal connectivity availability and utilization of IT systems.
• Provide on-going support to customers on systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provides hands on system training and mentoring as and when required.
• Monitoring performance, troubleshooting and optimizing business critical I.T. Systems.
• Working on and taking responsibility for new and ongoing I.T projects as well as documentation thereof.
• Adhere to the business and change control processes as well as relevant standard operating procedures.
